The spring box is filled with goodies to 'Spice it up at the Campfire' and look good while doing it in your Glamping Essentials exclusive ‘Cooking Up a Cocktail’ apron.
If you’re not ready for a campfire just yet, we have included a portable campfire from InstaPit (St. Catharine’s, ON) to get things off to a cozy start on a smaller scale. You can take this InstaPit nearly anywhere, but check out the safety instructions inside first!
When you’re ready to spice it up a notch, try mixing up Made with Love’s Jalapeno Roots Spice Blend (Kamloops, BC). There are recipe options on the biodegradable packaging (soak all the packaging & bury it, it will decompose and leave no trace) and share the dip with your friends & family.
Still hungry? Grab your crockpot or dutch oven and a can of diced tomatoes to cook up enough vegetarian chili for 10 people courtesy of Recipes in a Jar (Trois-Rivieres, QC). These pre- assembled jars are perfect to stock at the cottage or the trailer, and easy to bring along on a camping trip. They make for simple delicious and nutritious meals and snacks, in a reusable jar AND a meal is donated to a local food bank for every product sold.
If that’s not spicy enough for you, splash on Pepper North’s (Oshawa, ON) Sweet Garlic & Habanero sauce. It’s a 5/10 on the spice scale. Woot! Woot!
Hot enough for you yet? Wash the spice down with a glass of Glamping Essentials Long Island Iced Tea. Bring your friends, this recipe makes a whole pitcher.
When you’re ready for more outdoor cooking information and adventures to continue spicing up your campfires, we’ve included Canadian author, Kevin Callan’s “The New Trailside Cookbook” to keep you informed and inspired.
