Summer Glamping Box 2024

Summer has arrived and I am here for it! Nothing compliments the summer months like the Summer Glamping Box, so let’s dig into this fabulous box filled with goodies from Canadian small businesses and suppliers that will up your camping or cottage game. This box centres around one of my favourite things about summer - the sun - and ways you can enjoy it.

First off, you can’t be spending time in the sun without your sunscreen, so I’ve included a tube of Green Beaver (Hawkesbury, ON) 100% natural Mineral Sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF 50. This sunscreen is hypoallergenic, reef friendly, gluten free, cruelty free, GMO free and certified organic. It goes on smooth and stays put, but remember to reapply often!

To protect your eyes I’ve included sunglasses from our friends at Parks Canada (Gatineau, QC). Not only is the wood-grain look super cute, these sunglasses have UV 400 protective lenses and support Canada’s national parks, historic sites and marine conservation areas. You’ll be looking fine while protecting your eyes and protecting Canada’s treasures and environment.

If you get thirsty in the sun, Glamping Essentials (Kingston, ON) has you covered two ways: first, your very own Hello, Sunshine glass tumbler (hand-wash the glass and straw to keep them looking their best for the longest time possible). Second, fill your new glass tumbler with this month’s drink recipe: Day Drinkin’ Daiquiri. This recipe uses lots of ice, makes about 4 servings and is simple, delicious and refreshing!

One of my favourite ways to enjoy the sun is on the beach, so I’ve included a luxury Turkish beach towel in this Summer Box, from Pokoloko (Ottawa, ON). This towel is more than just a towel! Dig through your box to find the ‘Poko Towel Use’ card to see just how versatile this towel can be. You’ll be able to continue to enjoy it long after the summer has ended.

And finally, all that sunshine and fresh air makes me hungry so I’ve included TWO bags of my new favourite popcorn brand, Comeback Snacks (Hamilton, ON).
