Winter Glamping Box 2024

Focusing on the warmth and coziness of a fireside evening, this Glamping Box is filled with items from Canadian small businesses hand-selected to reignite your summer camping & cottaging memories (pun intended). This box is sure to be a favourite.

This box starts off with a beautiful Tencel Lyocell poncho from Kindred Coast (Vancouver Island, BC) which is perfect for staying cozy while stylish. I chose a beautiful moss green, with a hand screen printed fern using eco-friendly water based inks in black. The edges are serged with matching thread to hold the shape, but the hems aren't bulky or thick. I think this is a great style for throwing on over a tank top, or dressing up an evening outfit. Your poncho can be hand or machine washed in cold on the delicate cycle with like colours, and laid flat to dry. Check out their website for more colours and prints.

Follow this with a Fireside Comfort wooden wick soy candle from Pine Point Products (Kingston, ON). Tina, the business owner, created a custom scent to compliment our Fireside Comforts box. Enjoy the cozy campfire smoke blended with sweet caramelized maple sugar and hints of aged oak barrel bourbon. In your box you will find a jar of wooden matchsticks to easy lighting. Look down the back of the jar for the striker!

Although I’ve included a classy and sophisticated cocktail as this season’s Glamping Essentials drink recipe, the Forty Forty Martini, the holiday season lends itself well to gathering with friends, so I also included the Holiday Variety Pack of cocktail bombs from the Cocktail Bomb Shop. And lastly, to make your fireside comforts low-stress, I’ve included a set of the Glamping Essentials all natural fire starters. These soy and pine fire starters ensure an easy start to your fireplace, chimonea or outdoor firepit (we even use them in our outdoor wood burning furnace), light it once and it will burn for about 15 minutes to ensure an easy fire start.
